Ex
Always on Twitter with his muscle by his side giving it the biggun about how there is SO much more to the fiver he charges and how amazing it is yet always cunts people off when they question him charging for transfer news, if your content was as good as you say it is you wouldn’t need to hide transfer news effectively behind a paywall. Way too up himself.

Re: Ex
Again, main issue for me is that according to his followers you cant criticise him. Its all “the price of a pint!” And “dont listen then”.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I just dont really get all the fawning and backslapping on twitter.

A lot of knicker wetting over nothing really. You can either take it or leave it.

Good post, and probably exactly how I feel about it all.

Re: Ex
Ex reflects a part of modern society which I have for a long time found distasteful which has been fueled by social media and that is a craving by some people to share things that it's not really their place to be sharing because they think it makes them look important/gives them some kind of misguided kudos in front of all their online 'followers'

Like when some people witness something bad happening, their first reaction is to get their phones out and and record it so they can post it all over the internet....fucking parasites.

Having said that i'm not going to lose any sleep over this Ex bloke, i have an opinion of him, i'm never going to give him any of my money and i don't understand why other people would give him money, but tha'ts their look out

MPI - It's up to him whether he has a patreon, just as much as it's up to those who want to pay to listen to his "content".

Re: Ex
Can do without his 'content' so no need to pay into his Patreon.

Must have been worth every penny to know which striker we are not buying in the Summer.

Not yet found a reason to get worked up about him though, dont really give a fuck.

OTB - the podcasts are usually interviews with people past and present from the club.

Re: Ex
Agree with others. To say he is ripping off fans is implying that our fans are too stupid to make decision to part with their money or not. From what I have seen they are very clear of what you get for you money.

I wouldn't personally pay for this but I do pay or make donations to some content that I enjoy, if prompted.

Re: Ex
He blocked me on Twitter for showing him up as a liar, so yes he is definitely a bit precious (and a liar).

Can't say I'd ever pay to hear someone else's thoughts on WH - there's enough of that elsewhere, like here - but fair play to him for convincing other people to pay for that. He obviously gets transfer information but he clearly also makes some up for clicks - what's amusing is that people take everything he says as gospel.

Re: Ex
He comes across as a bit needy at times.

But I honestly don’t see a problem with him having a Patreon account. People pay for access to all sorts of podcasts, what’s the harm here?

Re: Ex
I have no issue with someone trying to make money. This is no different to people stood outside the ground selling scarfs, badges, programmes etc to the fans. I don't even give a toss what his reasons are for doing it. If the guy just wants to get rich, then good luck to him.

People are choosing to part with their money for the content he is providing and seem happy to do so. If everyone decided to not pay, he wouldn't be able to charge for it.

I do agree that he is deeply insecure however, using the soppy 'eyes emoji' if something happens that he has said would happen previously, retweeting any bit of praise given etc. He seems to have a meltdown whenever anything negative is received i.e. when he's called a fraud. I would suggest that social media is probably not for him if he finds that so difficult to deal with.

Re: Ex
Kemp, the whole releasing of information under the managers noses is a completely different argument to charging fans to listen to content mate.

I have mentioned this to him, and he understands how people were fucked off with it, but at the same token there were a lot of people who were looking at him for info on transfers or team news. So it's swings and roundabouts.

Personally, I'm on the same page as you. I disagreed with the leaking of info to be honest.

But for the issue of charging people, I understand why he does it albeit I don't agree with it. There's been people on here suggesting we all pay £5 a month to post on here, what's the fucking difference? Double standards at it's finest.

Lee Trundle 1:29 Mon Nov 1
Re: Ex
MOYES has been on record he would like the "leaks" to be cut.

Who do you think he was talking about?

Re: Ex
Block

He is only in a position to front a radio show, take sponsored flights to Vegas fronting his event, run an event prematch and have 90000 followers because he had a mole at the club which for sure either was Sullivan or had the backing of Sullian to do so under the nose of managers who were fucked off with it. Dropping transfer rumours sets up fans for disappointment and interferes with talks. All at a time when us fans wanted to slice sullivans face off.
Now he has moved away from it doesn't mean he deserves to make money at all or have the following. If I robbed a bank and set up a hospital with the money, do we let me off the robbery. It started with a crime and he needs fucking off.he made us look like clowns.

Re: Ex
Trundle, I had it out with him on all the points you've mentioned mate, and he pointed out he doesn't force people to pay, it's up to the individual who pays.

I was quick to tell him not sure who's worse, him for making people pay or those who are stupid enough to.

BUT, there's a legitimate reason behind what he does, is he using his "position" to make money, yes. Most people would do the same as it's the "modern" way these days.

I don't agree with what he's doing but understand it, it's a bit stupid why people are so divisive over it. Let him crack on and do what he does and let the morons pay for it, it's up to them at the end of the day.

"Also, he doesn't charge for the transfer news, this is just laziness and you can clearly see all over his twitter he talks about transfer news etc."

I haven't checked in Twitter for absolutely ages, but I bet if I check it now, there's a load of RETWEETS off his followers back slapping him.
